Thank you for taking the time to contact my office to share your concerns about Invasive Species. Your input is important to me, and I appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts.

As a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, the protection and preservation of wildlife and the environment is very important to me. Due to fiscal restraints, we as elected officials have the responsibility of evaluating departmental programs during the appropriations process to find out which ones are working well and which ones need to be improved. I appreciate your interest the effects invasive species can have on ecosystems and public health and the information you have provided will certainly be helpful to my staff and me as we continue to look into this issue.

Sharon, I got the same letter three times all at the beginning of the month.. Form letter!! I posted it about a week ago on the forum..

I received the same message. It actually made my stomach a little sick...

Really guys, I don't know if he even read my letter. He certainly did not address any of my points. I suspected a form letter.

when I got the second letter at the beginning of January It really pissed me off... All they are doing is cutting and pasting and hitting send to all... It's shameful of our public officals to treat us this way...

The third letter at the beginning of Feb that was exactly the same as the last two made me come to my senses.This is just more propaganda on their part...

Just watched the National Geo Explorer "Python Wars" It painted a terrible picture of our industry... I'm deeply saddened by it..
