No, this wasn't my first season breeding, but it was my first season breeding with more than one pair of dragons and also selling via the web.
Thanks for the compliment on my babies
) I appreciate that. It is hard to make a name for yourself until people find out that you have quality babies. I believe word of mouth is always the BEST form of advertising. It is also the ONLY reliable source in my opinion.
These eggs were incubated between 83 - 84 degrees. It also varies a little from day to day and the room temps, etc.
Funny thing you should ask about a female refusing a mate..... I did have one GG female that flatly refused to breed to any male smaller than her. I ended up selling her because I didn't have a male she liked or a male bigger than she was. She is now a loved pet and spoiled rotten.
>>You sure seemed to be busy this season with babies Lisa. I thought you were done 2 week ago selling off the lasy of them. Now your starting the whole cycle over again By the way was this your first season breeding? If it was you sure did a great job, and had many nice babies for sale. I plan to give it a go next spring if all goes according to plan. I'm hoping for my Big orange Foster to go with my big Candy Girl. Did you find that some males refused a partner at all, or had a female turn down a possible mate? Well, anyways if Candy doesn't go next spring I got an even larger red/gold GG, but she is a bit different in color. Shorter in length then Candy but much bigger bodied. Also what temps to you incubate at? Was this clutch that took a bit longer set cooler at all?
