Just a big yellow snake

AbsoluteApril Feb 11, 2010 05:42 PM

It's hard to set up a timer, grab a big snake and try to pose by yourself...

So, it's not a great photo but here I am with my big yellow gal "Lemondrop" a PK albino.
I've had her since 2002 and she is going to be 12 years old this year. Boas are so great!

Thanks for looking,
-April

I think that's a pretty good photo for doing that all yourself! She pretty. Love her name!

Thank you Jessica! You should have seen how bad the first 10 plus tries were... she was starting to get pretty irritated with me by the time I got this shot.

GOOD memory! No, sadly, I don't have fish anymore. The guy I was dating at that time got to keep all the fish because I was moving into an apartment. I miss having fish and have been contemplating getting into it again in the future. They were fun and the large cichlids have so much personality!

BROWNSBOAS Feb 11, 2010 07:54 PM

She is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! I lost my foot in a steel mill accident in July of 97 probably not to far off from when that girl was born.. My Mom brought me an issue of Reptiles Magazine while I was in traction with pins in my ankle holding things together... One of the things that got me through it was the dream of owning an albino boa someday... I was lucky enough to get my first one in 2000. Some people just don't understand what these animals mean to some us..

Thank you for sharing!!!

That's awesome Al!

I know when I first got this albino it was a dream coming true

Have a great day,

Two good looking gals.

You should put a picture of Bill Nelson in her cage so she can
poop on it.

Boas are great pets. I just got a dog last year. I'll be lucky if
she makes it to 12. I don't even want to think about it.

Too bad that snake is injurious and invasive and will take over much of the US, lol.

Lovely captive. If only the powers that be could see this side of the hobby.

I know, what a shame huh? random albino boas patrolling the rocky mountains...

Thanks for the nice comments!
