A few Pale closeups...

daniel1983 Feb 11, 2010 09:42 PM

Got a new lense for my camera and decided to try out some closeups. The pales were cooperating since I was about to feed them

Nice Daniel, those photos are great looking, really clear looking on my screen.

Thanks a lot, I'm only running a stock lens that came w/ my Rebel XTi. Now I've got to go get a new lens after seeing what you've done w/ a good lens.

I really liked this shot. I took the liberty of adding a boarder and bumping some of the high lights out.

I just picked up the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens. Pretty good so far. I still need to get used to taking pictures with it. I didn't have the extra $500 to get the lens with image stabilization, so this one will do for now. I can't wait until the weather warms up and I can get in the field with it.

What a cracker. Great photographs too! Shame there are no multistriata in UK.

Just beautiful shots, Daniel. You're a hell of a lot better with a camera than I man, buddy! I look forward to seeing some of your field shots this spring/summer. Be sure to share them with us!

Killer stuff, Daniel! Few things are better than being in the field. It certainly is the driving force behind my love of herps and directs the focus of my captive collection - I keep and breed some of the types of animals I most enjoy seeing in the field.
