Snake bans in Wall Street Journal

boredfoot Feb 12, 2010 05:05 AM

The Wall Street Journal just published an article overviewing the plight of python and boa breeders if the new legislation passes.

Check it out:

The Wall Street Journal is a great paper that realizes the plight of the small business owner. If another rag such as NY Times or Washington Post would view snake breeders in a much different way...

A good article in support of snake breeders...though never knew pied ball pythons were white with rare blotches of brown and green. Here I thought they were just normal ball pythons with irregular bands/blotches of white over the body.

That is the first even handed article I have seen in quite some time!
We need more articles like that one. We need the general public to see the negative impacts that this type of legislation will cause.

I think this and the article in the WSJ speak to individuals that may not ever get a chance to read our stories.

The article is pretty even-handed and for the most part well written. Nice to see it from this perspective. Even my fellow business professionals wonder why we are wasting our time and money when we have bigger matters to concern ourselves with.

The big push in the Federal complex is getting money out to create jobs and then you get this situation working in the opposite direction.
