It has been a number of years since I was into breeding herps, but when I did I was mainly into snakes and chameleons. My question is this... Do most bearded dragon breeders use incubators? I never used one, I just popped the eggs into deli containers with moist vermiculite and added a bit of water weekly. I would mark the date I expected them to hatch and when they were laid and I kept them under the bed. When it got close to hatch time I would check them a couple of times a day. I would only lose the occasional egg but the clutches always hatched fine. I never felt that the temps were too critical and what we kept the house at always seemed to be fine. Are beardeds a bit more delicate when it comes to incubation temps?
