Butter X Lesser breeding

I have a question for those of you who have done this pairing. Were you able to tell the Butter & Lesser hatchlings apart? And if so, how hard was it?

Don't go looking for snakes--you might find them.

you do know they are the same thing right just named differently by two different people years apart. Just like Bananas and coral glows they are the same just named by two differnt people years apart.

I have done some digging after my initial post and have found multiple videos showing the diferences between the two. Even NERD's website describes the Butter as being "similar" to Lessers. I know they are alike such as with Black Pastels & Cinnamons, but there seems to be enough information to suggest that they are not exactly the same.

Lessers and Butters are the same not even close to the cinnamon and black pastel difference. The true Platinum is different but there is also another gene in the mix. I have Lessers and my friend has Butters they are identical. They all vary from snake to snake but so do normals (i.e. patterns & colors). Ralph davis wants them to be different since he has something unique that produced little butters instead(same as his goblin line same thing as a yellow belly but he has to be different). So he coined the name lesser platinum to make them different. The only thing that makes lessers different is they came from the hidden gene line thats it. But who is to say "Butters" can't produce their own Platinum with out being bred to the Lesser hidden gene line? Which would make them exactly the same. About the cinnamons and black pastels they are actually visibly different just the same outcome happens when you breed them.
