Back in 2007 there was a very heated discussion on this forum about MANMADE Global warming. I remember posting that in 5 years it would be uncovered to be a hoax and forgotten. Well now its actually been less than three years and the gig is up. Heres the proof......

Actually the scientist at the center of the controversy has now admitted that the earth has actually been cooling since 1995. This is a must read for those of you who still believe in manmade global warming.

I knew all along this was just a scheme to get grants and grab as much money as possible in the name of "saving the planet". Sorry those of you who call yourselves Henny Penny,...... the sky isn't falling.

Hmmmmmmm...... lets see global cooling, the population explosion, acid rain, ozone hole, depletion of the rain forest, Y2K, global warming, climate change,.......I wonder what the next scheme the Henny Penny's will get excited about.

Let's talk:

So far, this is about people not being able to see this guys data because he misplaced it. I saw nothing that said this wasn't a man made period of climate change. I for one don't believe that, but that's because of my definition of the word belief. I am on the edge of accepting climate change, heck even the theory of evolution. The article mainly talks about an unorganized guy. The hockey stick diagram has always been unsettling with me. It shows an increase in temperature, that's it. What else do you think is wrong? I see no proof in a news article, ever. Prove is a bad word anyway.

This is all a mute point because the Mayan calendar says the world is going to end Dec 21, 2012. Well,
at least the calendar stops.

Before ANY discussion can be entered into in an intelligent fashion, we have to define a few things.

1. Knowing that the Earths climate HAS varied / chnaged over time, from an Ice Age to sweltering tropic warmth; given that, WHAT IS THE NORMAL CLIMATE for this planet? And WHY is it that? And WHO gets to decide that? Isn't WARMER better?

2. Knowing that the Earths climate HAS varied / changed over time, from an Ice Age to sweltering tropic warmth, PRIOR to mankind being technologically advanced and populous as we are today; given that, WHAT CAUSED THAT CHANGE IN THE PAST?

3. IF burning of so called fossil fuels releases CO2 to the atmosphere, given that those are carbon based fuel, given that they are organic in origin, then burning of those fuels is only releasing CO2 BACK TO THE ATMOSPHERE, where it ONCE was. The is no net addition beyond the net reduction that happened when that carbon was sequestered in the fuel in the first place.

4. IF CO2 is a pollutant and a danger via climate change, given that mankinds activities produce a small fraction of the natural amount released every DAY (Volcanoes, methane hydride, natural forest/prarie fires, ad nauseum); WHAT DO WE PROPOSE TO DI ABOUT REDUCING those sources?

5. Water vapor is a much more potent, much more prevalent green house gas. Wouldn't a 'green' hyrogen vehicle cause a rise in climate temps also?

I could go on and on. Anthropomorphic Golbal Warming is a HOAX.
