Spotted Eastern King

foxturtle Feb 15, 2010 12:55 PM

I got this guy in trade last year. He was the only one like this out of a clutch of normals. He is pig, and already eating small adult mice. Should have no problem getting him to breeding size by the 2011 season.

That is a very unusual eastern king. Quite rare.

OOOOH DAT'S NICESH!!!!! GOOD LUCK WITH THAT BEAUTY! I CAUGHT A LARGE FEMALE THAT LOOKED VERY CLOSE TO THAT ANIMAL IN THE LATE 80'S.INSTEAD OF SPOTS,SHE HAD SMALL DONUTS DOWN THE CENTER OF HER DORSUM WITH NO OTHER PATTERN TO SPEAK OF.SHE WAS STRETCHED OUT NEXT TO A FALLEN LOG,HOOKED UP WITH A BIG NORMAL LOOKING MALE.I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT FIND,AS MY FRIEND WALKED RIGHT PAST THEM.I SAID,HEY I THOUGHT THIS IS WHAT WE WERE LOOKIN' FOR,AND HE GOT SORTA PISSED FOR WALKIN'PAST THEM!!HA HA!!ANYWAYS,THEY WERE FOUND CLOSE TO TALLAHASSEE.NONE OF THE OFFSPRING CAME OUT ABBERANT PATTERNED BUT HOPEFULLY YOURS WILL CARRY ON THIS TRAIT!
