And let the games begin, 2010 style.....

I do so much love it the first time in the season that I catch them mating. Of course not sure any actual mating has occurred yet but this is a pretty good sign. They were seperated for a few days after I fed them. Just put them all back together last night and this morning found Mickey all over Eve......

At lunch time they were still at it but had moved to another spot in the cage - ride her mickey!!!!!

I suspect in the next few weeks I'll see a LOT more activity like this between all my various pairings - woohoo!!!!!

looking nice dave as usual.
Wish my hypo genes were working that well
im seeing all kind of action in many cages but feel
that my het hypo male is acutally gay. Time will tell
i guess.
A few questions for you as usual
- how many times do you actually see visual copulation?
Ive got many pairs, that have been tail wrapping etc etc for weeks
on end, but im never really seeing the pink bits!
- how many of your girls do you actually witness ovulation in?
My girls sit in there moist boxes for probably 23hrs a day, and i cant imagine
im going to be able to witness anything.

Cheers

I witness actual copulation in my BRB's very rarely. Most of the time they have the bits of pink all covered. Ovulation - never seen a one for sure. Some swelling, but like you said, they lkike to be more secretive.

I record tail wraps, visual copulations, swellings and sheds. From all that I can usually peg a due date that's plus or minus a week or so.
