My ackie cage is infested with pinhead crickets. I removed all the adults yesterday. Is there any way to get rid of the pinheads without tearing the cage apart or do I have to clean out the whole thing? Thanks!

It isnt a problem, I would leave it the way it is. Or you can burry a glass blow in the dirt and put a vegetable in there, the pin heads will go in there and not be able to get out.
Cheers,
Mike.
Thanks Mike! Tha glass bowl with veggies is working...trapped about 40 today. I am going to clean out my cage though...still too many and they are started to seep out of the door spaces (custom cage with front hinge door). Thanks for the advice...very innovative!
I too was a victim of having more success breeding crickets than ackies lol...thats changed btw. Anyway, if you dont want them getting out into ur home take some regular old duct tape and put it outside the cage sticky side up in long strips. Don't know why but the crickets are attracted to the tape (they like to chew on it or something). They get stuck on it and die. My cat nocked over a bin of a thousand adult crickets in my basement. Yes, it was as bad as u can imagine. The tape trick worked like a charm.
