We just received a solicitation from HSUS. We had unfortunately supported this organization before we found out about them pushing for a ban on the keeping of reptiles.

Here is the letter I sent to them today:

To who it may concern:

I used to suppot your organization but I will not longer be doing so, ever again.

The reason I will not support your organization is due to your stance on banning the keeping of reptiles and your backing of legislation to ban the keeping of reptiles.

I will not support, directly or indirectly, any ban on the keeping of reptiles, or any organization which supports such a ban.

Please permanently remove my name from your mailing list. Any further solicitations will go directly into the shredder without being read.

Odd that they would wish to ban reptiles and not cats as well...being as cats are far more damaging to native ecologies than reptiles.

Cats are furry... and my father has been working to fight the HSUS, infact he found that 80% of their funds raised from donations is used for Lobbying and adertizing.... going against the laws that make them a tax deductible charity, since not enough of their profits go toward protecting actual animals but instead go toward propiganda. The HSUS and PITA both acually would like to see all animals not be kept by humans. My father is a hound breeder, and Master of Basset hounds (www.skycastlefrenchhounds.com) with the National Beagle Club of America, and is on the front line of fighting the HSUS and its afflitates who are effectivly trying to wipe out all forms of hunting with dogs, and other animals in PA and around the country. HSUS is NOT our friend one darn bit.

way to go Isis! I'd like to see their support crumble as much as humanly possible. Thank you.
