Hey all, i have a male splendida roughly 3 feet long. He stopped eating in late October at which time i cooled him along with my female. I took them out and warmed them up 2 weeks ago. The female has been absolutely slamming adult mice and her eyes just went opaque yesterday, however the male has only taken one meal and shows no sign of shed.
Question
1). Am i worrying over nothing? There is no sign of weight loss whatsoever in the male.
2). Is it safe/productive for both animals to be put together after her shed even if he has not either eaten nor shed? That is, are feeding responses indicative of sexual aggressiveness? Is it possible that he may have a sickness which could easily be transmitted to her (i suppose it is possible...but is it likely?)?
Thanks alot for any help guys. I am pretty use to having my Lampro's fly out of their racks during warm up time so this is kind of odd for me. Any help is always appreciated, i will not put these 2 together if it seems dangerous or overly stressful to either animal...so please let me know what you think.
Sincerely,
Jon VanDina
