What incubator should I get?

tsusnakeguy Feb 18, 2010 11:04 PM

I have been wanting to get a good incubator for my cornsnake eggs and leopard gecko eggs. I have found two that look identical, that I like. I was wondering if anyone uses one of these and if so how they liked it. I would also like to know what incubators everyone uses and what they think is the best one? I would appreciate any feedback.

Here are the two I found:

I have not used either of those incubators....I still use the trusty Hovabators as I have 4 over 25 yrs.....To be honest I am scared to try anything else becouse these have worked so well 4 me over the years....If it ain't broke why fix it......The only down fall that I do have with them is that they do take up a bit of space....I have hatched corns, kings, milks, burms, balls, retics all in Hovabator incubators......I will stay with what works 4 me,but everyone has there own way that works 4 them, heck I know some people that don't even use incubators.....

......sounds like me......

I use up to 4 HovaBators....for ball eggs....89 -90 degrees...

corns,kings,milks,etc.....all go on a shelf in my snake room at face level......temps.....they run from 79 to 88 degrees lately....I try for 82....it's hard to maintain...LOL....eggs do ok even with fluxuations

I just put my containers in my racks and set the temps at 82.
The temps do fluctuate but with the AC on in the house most of the flucuations are usually lower instead of higher.
