Kingsnake pics

Nokturnel Tom Feb 19, 2010 09:36 AM

I have been busy with a lot of things outside of the reptile world. This season I even cooled the majority of my 09s. Now those are all ready to rock and soon their parents will wake up with lust on their minds...looking forward to this season.

It has been quite cold here in Texas this winter. Hoping that changes soon so I can get some nice outside shots.

Hey Todd. I intend to get back into the swing of things with my camera. Going to try some new things with photography this season. Lemme know if you are heading up this way anytime soon, we will have a bunch of beers as usual... bring Lassiter with ya,

Those yellow/orange ones are especially gorgeous. Are they sulfurs, or what?

The one that there's 3 pics of is a Sulfur Lav and I believe the first one is too, I know there's two different ones in this post. These are the real ones, 100% Sulfur Lavs that came out of a breeder pair of 100% Sulfur Lavs.

Thanks! Where'd you score your Peruvian Rainbow from. Terry Vandeventer had the nicest ones I have ever seen

I don't know Terry, but now I'll have to see if I can find him on the net.

Mine came from Jeff Clark. I'm vaguely thinking about getting a male to go with her. Jeff still has some males available, but if I remember correctly (I may not) they are half sibs to mine.

Thanks John, I could not easily pick a fave but that White Sided Hypo is stunning in person. I think White Sided Brooksi have a bad rap as those who are UNimpressed with the morph like to talk about how it's so "not a big deal". I disagree 1 million percent. White Sided Combos are awesome in my eyes, every single one of them.

The 15th pic of that brooksi x goni?? is killer! Heck so are all of them thanks for sharing.

Nokturnel Tom Feb 19, 2010 08:41 PM

It is a Blaze, cool spotted pattern too, and it came from double het for Blaze X Hypo parents. I may keep him since the best one I had intended to hold onto is outa here now. I hope the one female I have cooling is big enough this season, I think she will go and she was a very intense baby that I suspected was a double homo Hypo Blaze. We'll see..

Yes I would have kept it also. Best of luck this season and I look forward to seeing all of your new hatchlings for 2010.

JTColubrids Feb 20, 2010 12:09 PM

THOSE THINGS ARE AWESOME!!! Do you have any pics of the brooksi x Easterns that turned out greyish, the ones with abberant patterns. Great pix tho! When your breeder Lemkes come out of cooling can you snap some pix and post them too???
