As we fight for the right to continue our hobby, can't help but think about what we're up against.

For two nights straight, "Tiger Woods is about to speak" and "Tiger Woods speaks" are the lead stories on the Network News. Of course they did add the economic spin for some legitimacy, I suppose.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not opposed to Tiger Woods, his money, his lifestyle, or golf. Not at all.

To me it says a lot about where our nation's priorities lie. Our national priority appears to be the sex life, scandal and shame of an entertainer. Golf is a sport and sports is a form of entertainment.

When our nation's priorities are ET and TMZ, and the Networks also find it such a high priority for the ratings, with all else going on in this World, we shouldn't expect a lot of help or understanding from mainstream America or the Media.

I do not wonder why the opponents of Pythons get away with such incredible and outlandish "facts", day in and day out.

Just my thoughts.

TV is more of a "vast wasteland" then it was 40 years ago.

Although I did like "My Mother the Car." RIP...lol

I was only 3 years old, but I memorized the theme song to shat program:

She's a 1928 Porter
That's my mother, dear
She helps me through everything I do
And I'm Sooo Glad she's here!
