Another phase that has popped up twice from these breedings this summer are anery bloods with white sides. Two of these came out of separate clutches (same father, different mothers).

Richard, you've got some beautiful babies there. I've always wondered if the white-sided trait was lurking out there somewhere just waiting to pop up in corns. A white-sided corn with a red pattern would be an amazing animal to see - would you call it a "peppermint stick"?

Those are fantastic Richard!

What great results from a unknown project!

I really like that 'whitesided' snake. Looks like the extreme end of the patternless sides of the Bloodred gene.

Offspring of these snakes should prove interesting to see if they reproduce consistantly.

Again, Congratulations!

Richard.....do you sell these snakes? i am looking for a good pet but can't get one yet.....do you if you do you will have a customer in like 4 months

richard hume Sep 22, 2003 01:25 PM

Yes, I do sell them, but these are rather high end corn snakes and as such would probably be a bit expensive. Usually people who would be looking to purchase snakes like these would want to breed them in order to see what results they got and also recoup their initial investment down the line by selling the offspring. If you are looking for a pet, and particularly if this is your first one, I would suggest something like an Okeetee corn, which is a perfect starter snake.

I know these are high end snakes and if i can lure my mom into it i may breed one with someone else's snake to recoup the losses and expand my collection. i don't care much about money as long as i can get one for around 3-4 hundred canadian dollars.. i also know lots about them as i did a speech on them and have researched them to the point that i can offer advice without even having one...

0.0.1 broken stripped newt
0.0.1 northern brown snake
0.3 border collies
1.0 cockatiels
and a fish tank full of fish ( soon ADFs i hope )
I'm just saying i like the look of your snakes and some of them will be easyer to find in the tank
