Snakes will sometimes leave a small blood trail after a shed. It happens to my python every single shed, like clockwork. Its normal.

A lot of blood however is not normal. If the blood is caked/ dried on the snakes vent then maybe it could be something else. If you see blood after defecation then the snake may have a parasites.

But from what you wrote, it sounds normal and is no cause for alarm in my opinion.
