I picked up a pair of Speckled Kings last week. The male is a white wall and the female is a proven het. I have high hopes for this project. He is a looker for sure!

That's better!!!

Sorry, I don't know how to post multiple pics.
Here is a belly shot.

Sir, that is a beautiful snake.
Thank you! I typically tend to go for "normal" snakes, but every so often I come across a morph that makes me go weak in the knees. We all have our preferences, but this White Wall is the coolest example of a native colubrid I have ever seen. I'm extremely excited and feel fortunate to have been able to add this one to my collection. I now think my collection will never be complete without one.

And here is his girlfriend. They have both shown ample interest in breeding (though have not been formally introduced), so I have high confidence that I'll be seeing viable eggs in the near future.

Those are both VERY nice looking specimens man!
Just in case you didn't already know this, the first known "White-Wall" speck. was captured in Carter County, Missouri back in August of 1985 by a dude named Keith Albert. They are indeed true-blue holbrooki just for the record for those that might wonder about it's origin.
BTW, excellent photos too!.....and good luck with the breeding as well!

Thanks Doug! This pair came from Tom Stevens by the way. I used to catch Speckled Kings all the time when I lived in Arkansas as a kid and they were easily some of my favorite serpentine encounters. They both ate for me yesterday. I'll get a couple more meals in them and hope to introduce them in the next couple of weeks.

This pic isn't as good, but shows his pattern a little better.

Very cool!. I probably saw pics of those very animals as hatchlings when Tom posted his offspring shots a while back.
Yes, both are really nice!
