My life long friend Bill Love and Jerry Gingrich DVM came over and spent the weekend and took pics. We swapped stories and told lies but in between he did manage a few pics..Here they are...

Awesome pictures and even more awesome snakes. Having a professional photographer like Bill Love coming over and offering to take some stunning photos of your collection, is certainly a great opportunity. Wish I could take photos half as good as Bill's....then again if I wasn't half as lazy as I am, I could take better pictures LOL

You know back 30 plus years ago Bill was taking pictures of herps. He learned to do that the hard way by trial and error. Bill and I have shared travels, marriages, family troubles, good times, and bad times. I knew both Kathy and Bill before they knew each other. I couldn't have asked for better friends than they have been. My life has certainly been enriched by being their close friends through all these long years...

I met Bill at Toronto's IHS several years back...didn't get much opportunity to talk with him though but chatted to many great people there, some of them I had no clue who they were when I struck up a conversation, just assumed they were guests till later I realized they were not only guests but guest speakers too LOL. I so suck at remembering names. Wish I had the money to go to more IHS's...they are great fun, educational and a great way to rub elbows with many fantastic people in the industry.

Maybe it was because it was in Toronto, but I found there wasn't a huge crowd of guests, which did make it easier to circle around and meet and talk to people, than say, it is in a busy reptile expo.

I presented two papers at the IHS in Oklahoma, City in the early 80's and Bill and I drove out together. We herped all along the way...Lot of fun we had. We went via Mattamoras, Mexico, a little out of the way but so what...LOL

Tom,

I don't believe you, can you cite a study proving all this...

Seriously, those are gorgeous Jamaicans. And the pics are outstanding. Is that orange one related to my little one? Does their color change any as they grow older?

Thanks for sharing,
Ed

Yes your orange one will look similar....You made a great trade...
