Black spots on scales...NOT mites...I swear

AggieCS_31 Sep 20, 2003 05:39 PM

I just had my boy out for our playtime today and noticed that around his mouth scales about half of them have began to turn white. It is the scales, and not mites. yes, I'm positive. I have also noticed that his nose is very dry and some scales on his back, in very random spots, are dry as well(dry meaning lighter and a lot more dull than his others). Is this a sign of anything. He's prefectly healthy, ive just never seen this before...Any opinions?

I meant that his white scales have begun to turn dark, like a brownish black color. Sorry
