HOORAY FOR BOAS!

Just enjoying what I love about boas and not thinking about all the legal stuff... just saying 'look at me, look at me' LOL

thought this was a neat shot, all the 09 kids together

Magic Mirror, tell me today, have all my friends had fun at play? I can see an anery male (from Darrin/drasticplastics), a het sharp and poss het sharp (from Ruben/RuBeN14) and three of Zahara's kids which are het kahl strain.

Baby boas are so much fun!

Happy herping and have a great night!

If I weren't already into boas, I would be now.

Seriously, this is a great idea worth exploring.

We could somehow have a PRO-Boa media campaign to counteract all
of the ignorant negativity and anti-reptile bias.

Instead of being on the defensive it could be ALL positive.
Boas do make great pets, they are hairless, don't make any
noise or carry any diseases and are very easy to care for.
They are long lived and gorgeous in a unique way.

There are already many large herp related companies that might
be interested in this kind of approach.

I really like this idea! I need to write some more letters to various news places and maybe I'll try to focus on this (the positives about boas as pets) instead of trying to just give talking points against the legislation...
thanks!

Don't you know better than to put Kahl's and Sharp's together?

Great looking pile of boas and thanks for reminding us about the good stuff and forget about the fight if even for a moment.

LoL,
Nice April! Looks like they're all coming along nicely! I can see the het Sharp and Poss het in there. They both look like they've lightened up a lot! Hows the color on the poss het doing? It was good to see you the other day. We all really need to get another Nor.Cal. BBQ going on soon. Too bad Eddy Kim moved down to So.Cal. He put on an awesome BBQ! I would if I had more space.

AbsoluteApril Mar 01, 2010 02:16 PM

We really NEED another NorCal BBQ, Eddie's last get together was so much fun! Wish I had more space but can't fit more than 3 people in my apartment without feeling like sardines. Maybe we should start a new thread and see if anyone else will volunteer to host later this year?

>>I can see the het Sharp and Poss het in there. They both look like they've lightened up a lot! Hows the color on the poss het doing?

They really have lightened up! Well, the het already had a light look but the poss het really keeps me on my toes! She has really dramatic dark/light phases. The color is coming in nice too, some real pretty and vibrant oranges near the tail end. I'll get some new pics after they both shed again.

GOOD ONE Dave!
I wondered if anyone would say something about that.
It's a good thing I can tell them apart or I'd be in for a world of PAIN down the line! lol
Take care,
-April
