Temperature Controllers?

hondorock Feb 25, 2010 03:58 PM

I'm finishing my snake rack and now I have to add a thermostat but I'm on a really tight budget and cannot a afford a helix, i need something very reliable and cheap. I found the Alife Reptile Electronic Temperature Controller, has anyone tried it? and also i found Ranco contollers on eBay, i'm not familiar with these either?

I have a Ranco and have been using it for many years now. Very reliable and accurate.

I have wired up several Rancos for my own use and they work fine you can even wire them in tandem for redundancy. They are easy to wire yourself with very little effort. Get the single stage not the duel stage, they are cheaper and I can’t think of a reason to use the duel stage on racks. If you need help send me a message and I will send you some links with instructions.
