That female is AWESOME Greg...
That snake is HOT!
Do your females regularly produce any like that?
Dustin, I can't say I'm working with jungles, but every year I seem to produce some wild patterns from my pink pastels. I couldn't find a picture of some of the better ones, but did find this one. I have produced some with large blotches, both in hets and the pinks. Since I'm going the other way, and trying for nice big, uniform saddles, I don't retain the others. If I produce any jungle type this year I'll take pictures.
Wendell

The first two are evans line males that should go this year for a friend of mine.

The next few are some that Richard Evans had for sale that are probably owned by someone if still alive. Think they were sold in 2005 or 2006. Some of them eventually made it to the UK via a buyer in Daytona at the show. (wish I had more details of who actually has them)

The next few are of a WC female and a CB male jungle. The female was collected within the city limits of Lubbock and was gravid. As I recall, all of her f1's had some jungle pattern to them. One or two were very abberant.

They have a great look to them. How does that trait get passed on? Is it a line trait like a tiger or Co dom like the anaconda? Or could it just be luck?
Thanks for posting
Not sure. Don't recall anyone setting out to prove them in the past. hopefully this will change.

Hi,
Here are a few of my possible morphs that I have been keeping back. Hopefully I will be proving something out later this year.
All the best,

Every one of those hogs you all posted have a nice look. I hope to see more of them on this forum. Thanks everyone. Dustin
Very nice. The one in the foreground has that side pattern that I am trying to develop. Not sure what direction that project will take but I am hoping to have that side stripe with a spotted dorsal or full stripes/bands that go over the dorsal. The stripe yours has is nice. Are there any siblings to that snake that have the side stripe and a normal dorsal?
John Q
Hey John,
no there are no siblings....and he was the only one in the clutch who looks like this...all his "brothers and sisters" are looking normal...
best regards
Nicole

The one in the top right is exactly what I picture as a jungle. The bottom one is one of the cleanest Hogs I've seen. Awesome!
