i used to work with them but the prices have dropped to rock bottom where people started trying unloading them for $20. each just so they could move them. I guess they got rid of their breeders and the morph has since dissapeared.

i have seen this happen before when a snake is popular and then overstauration occurs and the snakes dissapear from the hobby only to be resurected and then they become more popular than before. It runs a full circle. I always tell people don't panic because in one or two years they will be popualr again. But people panic to easily and just dump the animals to wholeslers or the pet trade.

Hey John, check with KJ Lodgrique at KJUN Snakehaven. I know he has lavender stock I believe came from the St. Bernard Parish animals, and I am pretty sure he has whitesided. Not sure if he is working with combining the two, etc.

Yea, I know KJ....I don't think he's made the cross yet either....
I have a male whitewall and a female lavender......I won't be able to pair them up until 2011 or 2012 though.....
I will get in touch with KJ though.....

As I recall wasn't the original lavender found in St. Bernard Parish by Tim Ricks?

I think it is rather strange that I haven't seen an adult lavender holbrooki in a decade......LOL
