>>hey everyone these are my two newest additions to my collection! The first is a female yellow and white, shes a big girl. The picture doesnt catch her true colors, shes more of a bright neon yellow. I hoping to get a high yellow snow or a HY albino het. anery male for her next year. The other is the pink and white boy, he is alittle on the small side but i still love him. Enjoy the pics I'll try to get some better ones in soon.
that's an exceptionally nice high-yellow snow. I'm assuming it's an adult, and that the yellow's part of the ontogenic change some snows go through? I like that the yellow rings are well defined.
back when there were only this many (counts on fingers of one hand) snow adults, Russ Bezette in Utah produced the one that turned high-yellow with pronounced rings (as opposed to the whole snake turning yellow, which they frequently do). I got that snake and it was the center of a breeding project for a while, but i didn't stick with it, and for years never saw another like it. And to be honest, the yellow was slowly spreading into the white areas the last time i saw it. This phenotype might "peak" at a certain age, like an athlete.
I like your breeding plan. I thought the high-yellow amel in the pic showed the same sort of characteristic, and might be a good mate for her (don't remember whether or not it was het/anery, but i'm sure that's what i would have gone for if it was available).
Good luck!
