The NA milksnake improvement society

Jeff Schofield Feb 28, 2010 03:08 AM

Following up on active thread below. I am hearby volunteering my services to help in the efforts to improve the attractiveness of our CB NA milk ssp.. Now it has been widely argued that most NA milk breeders would rather breed a locality milk than a attractive one. Seeing that it doesnt matter to you all, I will suggest you just send me all the attractive babies from your clutches(I wont even ask where they came from, you can do this ANONYMOUSLY!!). You can keep running along with your line as if nothing ever happened and BAM! Attractive snake x attractive snake=better looking babies. I promise to follow Williams' key and only breed within ssp. ok? As far as locality snakes, I will get kingsnake.com to stop mandating a pic in your classified ad because we know no one wants to see pics of locality snakes anyways, they sell themselves sight unseen!
This is exact opposite side of your locality coin, for fun! Have at it! If you need my address to send your babies you just let me know! Dont take this too seriously, ROFLMAO!

This is unreal. Out of hand. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. Don't you ever have anything nice to say?! Ever?! Look what you did to the Honduran genetics post below, too.

"Don't you ever have anything nice to say?!"

uhhh,....no!

If he was ashamed about it, he would have stopped doing it years ago. Jeff is noted for this just like baby Hondos are for thrashing and musking!...

we take the best pairs and send them to Jeffrey then he raises them and breeds them to make better and more pretty babies....
he would then ,I imagine, send the babies back to us....therefore making the NA milksnakes in our collections better ,in order to improve us,the snakes, the world of reptiles in general.....making all breeders' stocks better....Thanxx...

sounds good to me....free labor....Thanxx again..

.....get me that adress.....I might be getting a bunch of little worms this year....

....cool withat.....???

Jeff,

I like the way how earlier in the year you made a post stating "So quit the personal b*tchin and have intelligent arguements with RESPECT."
And I see how it took almost no time at all for you to go back to being your usual self.

Meet the new Jeff, same as the old Jeff.

Tim, neither this nor any other post is personal. It should be obvious to all its done in jest to make a point....and that point isnt personal either. I cant believe everyone is taking it personal and not just witty and funny for what it is...jesus.

"But I don't MAKE fun of some ones elses snake to make myself look cool and knowledgeable"

But that is what Jeff is best at. His "forte" if you will..LOL!

This is just a wild guess, but Jeff!, I'm guessing as a kid you visited the principal's office for a good paddling on an almost daily basis for your "witt" in the classroom..LMFAO!!!!!

Doug, not once did I visit the principals office, makin up for lost time, lol. But you guys have to know I am being sarcastic about this crap by now. Anyone that knows me knows I have been a locality guy forever. But this arguement had to be made and I have the skin thick enough to do it. You can say I'm a wise guy and a smart ass, but its better than a moron or dumb ass. Just tryin to share what I know, and I dont claim to know everything. I actually like being corrected, and enjoy talking herp history with people that can fill in the holes. There is nothing wrong with a good arguement, and I apologize to anyone who actually thought I was making fun of Cole's snakes....but you gotta admit that "bucktooth, crackhead newprint locality" is funny right??J

As usual, neither witty nor funny...

Jeff, this made me laugh. Take heart you locality buffs and hear my story!!

About 12 years ago I went nuts into the locality alternas. I HAD to have LOCALITY pairs/breeding groups. I had Pandale Dirts, Pandale Roads, Hwy 277s, Juno Roads, Iraans, and Christmas Mtns. I was obsessed. I amassed a paltry to some/impressive to me group of locality specific alterna. As I looked at the animals I noted I had locality animals ranging from Very Nice, to Butt Ugly Dogs!!! I had a Pandale Dirt female I adored. She was charcoal grey with bright pumpkin orange bands. I had a thin pin striped Iraan female. Gee, I thought, wouldnt I produce nicer babies if I bred like with like and not locality with locality? The point is, NO BODY likes ugly, and a sweet looking generic that exemplifies that specific expression will probably sell faster and for a higher price than ugly locality animals IMO. Just my opinion. Unfortunately I sold my collection off due to personal reasons. However, I had gotten to a point where I was going to sell off the locality animals I didnt like and only keep the animals with pattern and colors I did REGARDLESS of their localities and I was going to breed them to produce babies that I liked and exemplified the best of the best color and patterns.
