Nest box or ....?

CBH Feb 28, 2010 01:24 PM

Hey all,

Do you all use a nest box that is placed inside of a females enclosure or do you convert the enclosure into a nest box near the time oviposition is expected? What do you all use as a laying medium?

Thanks!
Chris

I'll set mine up the same as I did with Geckos, lightly moistened Sphagnum moss.

I've been offering a nest box with sphagnum moss just like I do with all of my colubrids. Most of the females use them but I do have a few who choose to spread the eggs all over in the aspen instead.
