Tangerine Ball had prelay shed.

EmberBall Mar 01, 2010 11:35 AM

This girl was bred a couple of years in a row by a dinker male I have, and did not produce any eggs. This year, I decided to change things up, and breed a known stud proven breeder to her. She looks gravid, and has had her prelay shed as of last night, so I have my fingers crossed. She could be what Russo calls the Halloween Ball. My female is a CH animal.

The first pic is her baby pic. Please ignore the small piece of stuck shed on her in the second pic The third pic is pretty much what she looks like now.

I look forward to seeing what comes of the breeding.

She's really nice looking... though no clue why she's called a Tangerine...as she doesn't look anything more than a nice normal, maybe banded/reduced pattern. Keep in mind though, I have a real hard time distinguishing the more subtle morphs, especially in 'stand alone' pics (ie with no normal animal to compare to).

Either way, good luck with her and I do hope you get some nice babies.

Very nice snake! I had a WC female that looked just like her, but the older she got she the lighter she became. I was hoping to prove her out to be a morph but she passed away after 3 years of having her. I sure hope yours proves out!
