So my CA male was courting my female and then he seemed to just want to cuddle the last two days or so, and today i realized he is going into shed.
Is it normal for males to shed while in the courting process? And is t likely he will return to courting her once he has shed?

Yes, and yes.

One of my males is currently using the females body to assist in his shedding process. She should be shedding in the next day or two.

Totally normal
