Congratulations. The one you have pictured there is incredible. Wow, that's gotta be a hypo?
Thanks! And yes, that's one of my hypos! The normal female will be paired with him later down the road so I can get some normals het. hypo instead of just the hypos. Take care! Jeff
Jeff, you mean you actually want to produce Normals??? LOL!!
A vendor was selling "albino everglades" ratsnakes at a recent show I attended. I looked at them for quite awhile but passed due to uncertainty on my part they were true amel glades. I probably would have bought a good looking pair of normals from him at the same price if he had them LOL!!
By the way, I saw the pics of the female you got on the Sunshine post. Very nice indeed!!!!
I know what ya' mean! I bought a pr. of amel. yellow rats without really checking them out first and I couldn't be happier with them! They have bright yellow eyes with crimson pupils.I was afraid they'd have bright orange eyes. The North American rats getting addictive!! lol! Jeff

Dude, everything gets addictive to me at one point or another. I went through NA rats, getula complex, mexicana complex.... I am getting better though, at least thats what my pyschiatrist says LOL!! I quess thats why over the years I stayed with the corns. I can get orange, pink, grey, yellow, striped, blotched, near patternless, etc. etc. LOL!! I know a butter stripe corn is not the same as a yellow rat, or a my striped hypo corn is not the same as a glades rat, but sometimes thats a good thing LOL!! I do think the NA rats in a naturalistic habitat would outrock the corns though!!
That is going to be beautiful when it's an adult. I'm surprised how light it is for a normal. Keep posting pics of its progress.
I apologize! The posted pic is of one of my amel. yellow rats! I haven't gotten the normal glades yet! Jeff
Damn that is sweet. I saw a few days ago Howie S had a bunch of albino rats up for sale. They were freakin beautiful. Was it one of those? I would have picked one up myself if I didn't just buy the everglades. I guess they're all sold now, I don't see them up for sale anymore. Make sure you post progress pictures of all of your new snakes and thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I think they're beautiful! They've been around awhile but they're new to me!I'm really starting to like our N.A. ratsnakes! Jeff
Sorry, I didn't answer your question about where they came from.I got them from GNK reptiles!Howies ad showed up after I got mine! I would have gotten them from Howie if I'd seen them there first! Take care! Jeff
Beauty! Congrats!
