Jason,
You are probably doing more line breeding with deserticola at this point than anyone else and I always enjoy seeing your latest. One common trait that some of your GBs seem to have is reduced blotch size. Have you produced patternless yet? How about striped. Someone at some point on this forum (within the last year or so) mentioned a striped gene in deserticola. As the resident GB guy, what do you think.
Also, you've probably seen some of Jonel Lopez' GBs from California with large, nearly all black blotches on a high blonde if not yellowish base. You ever get any of those. Here's the link to some photos of his...

Well I'm not aware of a fully striped Deserticola. I've seen a lot of neck striping in WC and CB but no fully striped. It wouldn't suprize me if one popped up some where.
Patternless have been around for a while. A biology teacher from Boise State found the original animal in Tooele Co Utah. The Motley gene is co-dominate and have reduced patterns. I THINK a Super Motley may end up being Patternless too but time will tell. I THINK the Motley gene is very simular to the Anaconda gene of the Hognose but again time tell.
Yeah I checked out Jonel herp photos many times. He is such a good photographer. Plus he has found some nice looking animals.
Jason

I think you've acheived perfection there!!!
Beautiful, Jason!
