At some point everyone has had to treat their snakes for either worms or some bacterial infection. Some of the drugs we use can be pretty toxic and invasive. Being someone who prefers using natural suppliments to treat my human conditions I started having the thought of "can snakes be treated in the same manner"
Today I was doing some reading on protease enzymes. One specifically called chymotrypsin and it's role in the human body. This enzyme produced by our pancreas help rid the body of enterozotic worms and also harmfull bacteria. Do snakes also produce this enzyme and if so can an additional amount be used as a preventative measure for our snakes health?
