Couple questions:

1. Do boy snakes just start oozing when they're ready, or do you massage them (the plugs) out?

2. If you massage them out, how? Does this reduce the fertile sperm pool for actual breeding?

3. If there are no plugs (oozing or otherwise) does this mean your snake won't breed yet? (is infertile, etc.)?

In my very limited experience, I have never seen plugs expelled unassisted, but I have heard people say that its happens.

You can check for the production of plugs by manipulating your male(s) with a pseudo-popping motion.
