Albino Star Tortoise?

cod6545 Sep 20, 2003 09:25 PM

Hey- I hope I didn't exite you too much by implying that I had one or have seen one. I was wondering if there is one. If no one has ever heard of or seen one, why not? I see albino Sulcata, and Redfoot all the time. Why not Stars? Thanks. Brooks

I have seen very light phased indian stars but never an albino I will try to find the website I saw it at.It was about a month ago and its shell had the black but there was very little black and the rest of the shell was blondish colored. Its scales/skin was the same though. It could have been some other tortoise but I am almost 100% it was a Indian star.By the way all oddball colored turts/torts are my favorite animals. Here are the animals that I will be getting this month that I consider oddballs.

Pink Alligator Snapping Turtle
Hypomelanistic Sideneck Turtle (African)hopefully!
A fake Ivory Sulcata If I could find one when I have enough money.
And right now my common snappers skin and shell is changing color.

I know the turts that I have listed dont belong in this forum but I thought I would just let everybody know I love oddballs.
