The snake is a large female Nerodia. The bird is a Great Blue Heron.

Not the Heron's fault, she shouldn't'a been wearin' that.
I cannot believe that little heron ate that WHOLE snake! But then, I've seen Roadrunners do it..

Hoping for a good field season. Saw 2 basking Red Ear Slider turtles yesterday ( the 6th of March). Early sighting=GREAT Year! He hopes, anyway..
