Anyone breeding any Blue Alternas? I have a male that is from very Blue parents and I was wondering if anyone else had any. I might be looking for a mate for this guy in the future. He's not very Blue yet but I am hoping he gets better as he matures.

I am interested in hearing other responses on this... But, I have never seen an alterna that i would call "blue"... In person anyway..

Yeah I know it's not really a morph but there are some that are extremely blue. I got this male from Tadd Fitzgerald of Captivebred Excellence. Here is a link to his page. The blue female about half way down is the mother of my male.

The link gives you your answer. I suspected some Redbluff hwy 277 genes going on. Those are the "bluest" alterna I have ever seen. Had a pinstriped female redbluff hwy 277 I purchased directly from Sweetman about 10 years ago. VERY NICE locality animals.
