Thank you Doug. How's that gorgeous yellow rat doing for you? Did you ever find/pick up a locality mate for it? Steve
Steve,...
Yes, I did finally find a locality female for him about 12 miles from from where I captured him. But sadly, the nice yellow male you are referring to died several months ago from unknown causes. So I let the female go again in a very suitable spot not far from where I captured her. his passing away was very disappointing to me. He was indeed a very cool snake.

Thats a nice looking milk! Have you ever noticed there really are no ugly annulata? Thats why they are the best!
Dan Eby
Haharhar, thems there's fightin words Dan.
L.t. taylori, Garfield county.

LOL, no fighting here. I dont mean there are really any "ugly" milks, just that in my opinion normal annulata are the best looking normals.
Later Dell,
Dan
No ugly annulatas and they are one of the calmer milks to boot.
Steve
Yeah Steve I keep hearing that they are calm animals, but what fun is that, I respect a mad celanops for all its' tail trashing, pee flying defecation.
And why are annulata more mellow then celanops when they are so closely related to each other. Celanops have to be the most freaked out milks as neonates in the hobby.
Another Hwy 118 TX, celaenops. -Dell

Sweet looking annulata Steve, and locality to boot, nice.
I don't have any annulata but I might have to consider changing that.
-Dell
Hwy 118, TX celaenops.

Thanks Dell. Those New Mexican Milks are gorgeous, & yours is no exception. How easy are they to get started as hatchlings? Never worked with them before. Steve
You know Steve I've had three clutches of celaenops over the last three years, and they really haven't been bad to get started. A few from every clutch have needed a tail forced assist to get them started but most of them start by themselves on pinks, or pink heads.
-Dell

I picked up a pair of Freer's from Brad's 09 hatch as well. Both are doing fantastic and are beautiful milks. I'm very please with the quality of the snakes that I've received from Brad.
Brad Bauserman
I got Brad's last 09 annulata, or I would have purchased a pair. Hopefully this year I can pickup a mate for mine. Steve

Thanks Brad-glad to hear they're doing well....

Super nice animal, Steve. That's the only NA triangulum I've never kept and I haven't a clue why that is. I might just have to rectify that at some point!

Looks like that one is growing like a weed. Hoping for an even better year for annulata this year-I have several Freer, tangerine, and spotted females that should go. Just pulled them out of brumation a couple weeks ago, and all are eating ravenously.
