How would i go about breeding...

leopardgex0203 May 25, 2003 06:38 PM

a Patternless Albino? or a Banana Blizzard?

for a Patternless albino would i use a Albino that was het for Patternless and a Patternless that was het for Albino?

for Banana Blizzard a Blizzard and a Patternless het for Blizzard?

i am just wondering i am wanting some i know that it would be cheaper to breed them myself and it would also be good experiment to try to breed them...i am trying to get into the genetics of leos and i like experimental breeding just to see what will come out of things cuz you never know thats how most of the morphs came about is just by accident. Thanks for any replies

the "Banana Blizzard may be a bit more tough because all of the banana blizzards you see available are really just high yellow blizzards. A true blizzardxpatternless has yet to be proven, with the exeption of Kelli who posted a picture of one a while ago and she says to have produced blizzards and patternless from it. To produce your own, you would have to breed blizzards to patternless, keep the double hets, then breed them together, then when you have a baby that looks to carry both genes, breed it to both patternless and blizzards and if it produced 100% patternless and 100% blizzards then you have a true Banana Blizzard.
