Alright, I know feeding questions are kind of a newbie thing, but if I don't ask I'm afraid my snake will die. I'm pretty sure it's an Amel, and the store I bought it from said they ate a couple days before I bought the snake. Well that was about 3 week ago and the snake still will not eat. We've tried everything but force feeding and putting an anole in the pink's mouth. Now my b/f thought he saw something in the forum about feeding them frogs, like the dwarf frogs. I'm wondering if that's true, and if it is true...is it nutritional like the mice are. I'm willing to try anything...
Also, if I do have to resort to force feeding, could someone tell me how I would go about doing that. They say just get it past the jaw and it will start to swallow, but i don't want to choke the snake by doing this... If anyone has any information on what other kinds of ways to feed, or other things to feed, or how to force feed it would be a lot of help. I couldn't handle if it died... I already lost a garter this week to a genetic disease.... (don't worry garter and corn were at different houses, 15 min apart.) Please help me... and my snake. Thank you
Jaime
