They don't look that varied right now. It will be cool to see the ontogenetic changes. You should take another pic of the same group in 1 more year and 2 more years.

Their ontogenesis will occur within their first year unless they are kept on pinkies for a year.....hehe....

I see tons of variation......
Maybe you need to take off your thayeri blinders and open your horizons a bit....LOL

If you can't see the differences then look at these.......

That was my point. The juvies don't look that varied until they go through the change. I'm sure they will all be stunners. I still think you should do a pic of the same group in a year and post the pics together so we can all see how they develop.

To me they are already stunners but will get better....lol

And yes...I take tons of progression shots....just so I can track their change....Also, I'm looking for some sort of marker to determine which ones will turn black and which ones will eventually have pink/salmon saddles.......

But look at the difference there already Craig....
I see split saddles, Nuchal stripes, wide saddles, narrow saddles, black speckled sides, black and red speckled sides, high saddles, light gray, darker gray, dark red, crimson red, red with orange in it, doughnut saddles, light red saddles and more.....

....I think a cool group shot this Fall or Winter would be nice......

I've got a pair of black phase that I can't wait to watch change. I know it was always awesome to see it happen in my Green Tree Pythons.
