Haitian wood boas breeding today

prprjp Mar 11, 2010 11:58 AM

Checked on my Haitian wood boas (Tropidophis haetianus) during lunch and a male was copulating with a female. Have been cooling these snakes for close to 3 months now and this has been the first breeding activity observed.

Anyone else with species of Tropidophis, please get in touch.
Thanks, Ryan

Marc - its 'Scott's' mulch from Home Depot. As far as I can tell it isn't treated with anything (pesticides/fertilizer, etc). The tropes like some humidity and it doesn't mold readily.
Thanks, Ryan
