Not sure what to tell you for use on your dragon, but for the cage
BLEACH!

chiggers are not the same as mites at all...not even sure they would even bother your dragon. However I expect products like Provent a Mite may kill them off..probably best to google chiggers and see what is recommended to get the cage/home rid of them using safe methods or organic methods.

If your dragon does indeed have mites of some sort, I have the solution.
I have personally had great success with Natural Chemistry's Reptile Spray. If you see signs of mites, just spray a light amount onto your lizard. Using a paper towel to catch and damp off any SLIGHT excesses you have. This excess can then be very carefully applied to the head and throat region. DO NOT spray near the head! This stuff is not good for your dragon's eyes, ears, nose, etc.
One single application is all that I have ever needed to apply. Additionally, I apply it to all new arrivals. Just a part of my initial quarantine procedure.
If you can't find Natural Chemistry, here are the active ingredients (match to the brand you can find).
Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate 2.1%
Undecylenic Acid .5%
