My New (to me) Cancun BCI with pics

oeleo Mar 12, 2010 05:01 PM

I have not posted in a looooong time, but I wanted to show off my newest acquisition. She is a one-owner 2005 Cancun BCI. Even though she is five years old, she is only about five feet long! The colors you see (purples, pinks, oranges) are accurate even in the bad indoor lighting. I can't wait to use a better camera and get her out in the sun. She has extremely clean sides with washed out medallions and her saddles are very faint orange with no real black in them until the tail.

I look forward to breeding her to my 2002 Salmon/Cancun BCI male (below) later this year. It will be funny seeing his 8.5ft body wrapped up with her 5ft body.

Gorgeous boa. They are very colorful boas. But in regards to you saying you think it would be a funny sight pairing her up with a male that's significantly bigger than her isn't that good of an idea. A bigger male can stress the female and even hurt her if he does some heavy courting. Just my input and opinion. Very pretty boa.

just my opinion, I will find a pure male cancun . I also dont recomend breeding a small female to a big male.
