Well we really won't know till the day comes, if it ever does. But just my thoughts on it. If you want to look at it as each State is a customer for a breeder, and if that Breeder now has the luxery of selling and shipping to 48 continental states. Well then that breeder overnight will lose 47 potential customers, and have it reduced to one.
But then again, two years ago during the rising gas prices and failing economy when everyone was going on Staycations, and not going on out of state vacations. We went to Florida and I was having a conversation with the lady at the check in desk, I said that they must really be hurting this season, because I heard people were not going on vacations this sumer. She said that they were not getting many out of state people at their condos, but they were still selling out to Floridians that also were not commuting out of state for their vacations either.
My local Breeders may benefit from this, because my favorite breeders are out of state for me.
The first thing that comes to mind would be rodent availability would almost evaporate. Andrew
