Marley Update/ Need Opinions

LinsZoo Sep 21, 2003 07:41 AM

I know I haven't updated Marleys progress in a while... It was pretty much the same stuff.
But now I am calling him saved. Tell me if I am way off.
As you know his potty power has been the continuing issue.
He is up to can pee by himself (almost every AM) and poops once a week. He is on a total iguana diet with 6CC of water syringed into him each AM. This weekly poop was getting very frustrating since it was the best I could get from him. Now I find out that this was pretty much his schedule from before he was hurt! Does anyones iggy go so long? We just do a little one two massage if he stops during his potty session and he finishes. So would you guys say we have a save?
I think he'll make it all the way back in time. It took 3.5 months to get to here! I doubt he'll ever regain the use of his back legs but that's okay. He eats like a champ, is sweet, alert & curious. I'm pretty pleased with him but am I deluding myself?

Sure, he's saved! He eats, poops and lives in properly heated conditions, and he looks healthy.

You never know about those back legs, though. Give it another year.
