Question on Carmel morph...

AdamNC Mar 14, 2010 12:25 PM

Why is the carmel morph so hard to find? I was at the SC show this weekend and only saw a small handful(about 5-6)compared to the rest of the morphs out there? And rarly do I see them posted in any classifieds. I did manage to finally find a male at the show.

IMO most folks want the hypo (amber) or amel (butter) versions of the caramel gene, and even those don't appear to be as popular as they once were. However, I like the caramels too and plan to breed in the future for all three in normal, striped and motley patterned versions>
