Producing vs. Acquiring (Morphs)

Aspire2Breed Mar 14, 2010 12:58 PM

Some boa morphs must be acquired, and others can come from breeding other morphs together. What morphs are those? I know this includes snow, sunglow, (and ghost, if I'm not mistaken). Can Someone tell me what other morphs on this list would be and how to produce them?

I know that albino x anery = anery x anery = 1/16 snow

Will someone please help me on the others and the specifics (i.e., ratios of offspring, terminology [like "double-het albino for snow," etc.])

Thank you so much!!

P.S.-- Is the coral morph one of the morphs on the list which can be produced from other morphs?

What your referring to hear is what would be considered natural occurring morphs and man made morphs, the basic Albinos, Anerys, Hypos, and other co-dom/recessive animals were originally found in the wild.

Man made animals are typically those crosses for examples snows (Albino Anerys) Sunglows (Hypo Albinos and Ghosts (Anery Hypos) to keep things simple.

Albino x Anery will give you a litter of normal boas heterozygous for both Anery and Albino. Breeding these normal animals back to one another will produce snows.
