A Welcome to Our Newest Milk Head.....

Nathan Wells Mar 15, 2010 03:26 AM

I wanted to share with all of you my exciting new addition to the family. My beautiful son, Ashton Lee Wells, aka "Ash", came into the world on Thursday March 4th. Weighing in at 8.8lbs. and measuring 21 inches, this little guy put my poor wife through a grueling 16 hours of labor. Our doctor graciously stepped aside and allowed me to deliver him, just as I did with my daughter; an experience that I will never forget. Mom and baby are both doing very well.

He's a good little boy, barely crying and mostly smiling. I guess he already knows how much fun he'll soon be having being in the field catching milk snakes with his daddy.....

Although still very young to understand, Anabella, his big sister, regards him as the "baby". Initially she was very sweet to him...being gentle and giving him affection.

But as you can see, that soon wore off...LOL. She's starting to realize she's been bumped from the first position and has certainly let us have it over the past week. It always starts with this face...LOL!

Again, thanks to those who have reached out over the past week. My family and I appreciate all the support, kind words and congrats. Spring is in the air down here in Texas. And even though I have these two little toots to look after, I'll make sure you guys get your feel of annual field reports from me...

Hey, nice post Nathan, and again congratulations.
Your little girl is too cute, and that's big of you to give up YOUR red chair to her like that, she looks comfortable in it.

Congrats on the baby. Your daughter is a little cutie. The only thing that would have made that pic of her better is if you hadn't left one of your bracelets on the floor.

Congrats man. Great news. Looking forward to meeting him this spring on my annual trip to Texas.

The question is, what kind of a push gift are you getting Christina for 16 hours of labor! Good luck coming up with something worthy there, man!
