X tail.

zenzinia Mar 16, 2010 05:29 PM

Untill I’ll know if they are co-dom, I am calling them ‘X’ tail. I’ll know if there is a super forme in 3,5 months. I hope amd quite confident about it.
Here is the female 4 days before ovulation. 6 Years old and still a bright collorfull tail. In 2008, she proved to pass the trait with an unrelated male. The same year her brother also proved with an unrelated female.

A breeding pair.

Here are 2 of the 2008 ones
One produced by the female.

One produced by the male.

I have seen the KW, very nice ! The roswells and hets also are very nice and have proved to be co-dom. I love this kind of pattern.
Time will tell if mine and KW will be co-dom or not and if super form will be the same or not than the roswell. Nothing sure about it !
I haven't breed mine with pastels yest like Jeff did, it will be done soon to make them better even thought I have allready produced some pastels one that hold fantastic colors with age.

Thanks.
Alain.

Beautiful! I've always liked these 'x-tail' boas as you named them. I can't wait to see what you get this year!
